This poppy painting was created using watercolor and gouache paints and was die cut to size and pasted on a hand painted striped backdrop. This gives is a 3-dimensional feel with the flowers raised slightly above the backdrop. It sits in an 8x10 wooden frame with metallic edge details and a hand painted pink mat.
